Paulette Simmonds

I was Born in Buff Bay Portland, went to Port Antonio Primary School, then Titchfield High School, so I was Commuting from an Early age.

I Was Raise by a Wealth of Creative People:
Mother was A Top Chef :  Father Merchant a Tailor:
Grandma Top Chef “Mistress of Puddings”, Aunty Top Chef  

Godmother, whom I lived with in Port Antonio while Attending School was also a great cook, sings Soprano on the Chior at Church and operate the Portland Credit Union. 

Creativity was embedded in me from birth .

At Titchfield High School I co-wrote and produced  an Award Winning Play ..(Myrle and Primps). That Play ran for Months in the Titchfield Auditorium.

Journey Continued in Kingston. My partner And I Owned one of Jamaica top Ceramic Company (Ceramics International) where I did Merchandising for the Company.
I also Pursue my Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design at Bauder College, Florida

I am always Cooking and tending to my plants. I feel at one with Mother Nature.

Moved Home to Portland,…

“StteppinOutLoud”

Stteppin out loud started as a television programme on the local cable network community station. It focused the children of the community showcasing all their activities. Parents, grandparents love to see their children on television.

We broadcast community events, interviewed community members and spoke to the community up and coming entertainment and sport stars.
Stteppin Out Loud has also formed a very good relationship with the two indigenous communities in Portland, the Charles Town and Moore Town Maroons.

The programme also highlights the vast Medicinal Values of our Herbs .. and Our Rich Kulture …

Today we have expanded our reach, taking in the entire parish of Portland and the wider Jamaica.
